🚀 The historically first ESA BIC Slovakia Open Call is officially CLOSED! 🏁
A massive thank you to all the innovative space startups and entrepreneurs who submitted their applications by our February 15th deadline. Following our final call to action, we are thrilled by the response and the bold ideas ready to be turned into global businesses!
So, what happens next? As we begin our mission to incubate 25 promising space startups over the next five years, our team is now moving into the rigorous evaluation phase. This consists of two crucial steps:
📂 TOB (Tender Opening Board): Right now, the TOB is conducting the initial screening and formal assessment of all submitted applications. This step ensures all proposals meet the required compliance standards, identity verifications, and formal criteria before moving forward.
⚖️ TEB (Tender Evaluation Board) – March 5th, 2026: This is our next major milestone! Startups whose applications successfully pass the TOB will be invited to pitch their ideas to the TEB. This board—featuring representatives from ESA BIC Slovakia management, the European Space Agency (ESA), and other key experts —will thoroughly evaluate the written applications and live presentations against specific weighted criteria.
