π οΈ The Incubation Proposal
You have the vision (Business Plan). Now, we need the execution strategy.
The Incubation Proposal is the document where you tell us exactly how you will spend the next 24 months at ESA BIC Slovakia. While the Business Plan sells the “Why,” this document sells the “How.”
Here is what you need to focus on to convince the Tender Evaluation Board:
π
The Roadmap (Milestones) ESA incubation isn’t a free ride; itβs a structured journey. You need to map out your tasks leading to three critical checkpoints:
π Mid-Term Review: What will you have achieved after year 1?
π Final Review: What does “success” look like after year 2?
π Deliverables: Be specific. “Develop software” is vague. “Deliver Beta version v1.0 with integrated satellite API” is specific.
πΆ The Money (β¬60k Incentive) This is often the trickiest part. You must provide a Funding Split. How will you spend the β¬60,000 incentive? Remember, this grant is primarily for product development, prototyping, and IP protection. It is not for sales salaries or generic overheads.
π Tip: Your total project costs might exceed β¬60k. Show us where the rest of the funding (co-funding) is coming from (e.g., your own savings, investors, revenue).
π€ The Support Request You get 80 hours of expert support (50 business, 20 technical, 10 legal/IP). Don’t just say “we need help.” Be specific:
π “We need 10 hours with an expert in GNSS signal processing.”
π “We need 15 hours to develop a B2B sales strategy for the agritech sector.” The more specific you are, the better we can match you with the right partners from Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, University of Ε½ilinaΒ or our industry network.
π Constraint: Keep it tight! This document is limited to maximum 10 pages. We value clarity and focus over fluff.
